    The introduction of Julia Stiles character Lumen was woven into Dexter's life seamlessly - even though I knew she would be in this season. I didn't expect her to be the victim that Dexter finds along his journey. Lumen is the perfect blend of vulnerable & survivor that seems to compliment Dexter very well.
    He seems to be in a place where he not only helps out another but this person seems to help him in return cope with Rita's murder.
    Going against Harry's code & following his own gut is a struggle that you watch play out throughout this season. Dexter is not as "perfect" as he is when working alone as Harry taught him, but in this new vein you see him be even less of the monster he's thought himself to be his entire life.
    This season doesn't disappoint!! Watching Dexter's character move forward from Rita's murder - I wonder how the writers could accomplish such a fate, but they have made another season of Dexter to be gripping & enduring!

      I've had no problems watching this season instantly. I do not have to wait hours for the episodes to load or anything, I just turn on my laptop, head to my Amazon video library, hit play, and begin watching with no problems. Its a super convenient thing for me.

      Every intricate part of the tale that is the 5th Season of this show is worthy of watching as it is mind candy of the highest order, the smarter you are the better the show experience will be, and I don't mean to say that it wouldn't be any good to self expressed idiots. Plus most people think their smart anyway :)

      I downloaded the unbox and purchased Dexter: Season 5 three days ago. I have yet to watch an episode without a lot of stops to load. Each episiode takes anywhere from 2hrs to 24hrs to download. I purchased all the other seasons copies at a department store. However, when I discovered that it was possible to download from Amazon and view instantly, let's just say I was thrilled beyond words, but there you go. . .Amazon: unbox is an epic fail!!!

        This show is addictive! Starts off a little slow, but I ended up finishing the entire first season in 3 nights. $28 makes for much more entertainment at home than going out and spending three times as much!

          You have to watch from the first season to the last to fully appreciate the show. I was slightly disappointed at the end of the 4th season but the fifth season makes it all better. Seasons 1-5 make this show by far the best I've ever seen.

          I was so about the give up on Dexter, but this season turned around and this episode made me wanting more! WOW is all I can say - can't wait for next season! Darn Netflix put this one episode on one disc (I guess not Netflix...more like Showtime, but whatever!), and because I was too impatient to wait one whole day for it to come in the mail, I got it on Amazon. Thanks Amazon!

          i watched the last episode ofseason 6 wirh my girlfriend and was blown away luckly she hadseason 1 thru 4 and finished those in a week best series i think since jqail break for me.
